Green City Farm’s mission is to increase awareness of where food comes from and promote a more sustainable food culture. Its impactful work has been recognized with the Sustainability Award at the PRO2022 Gala (Helsinki, Finland), highlighting the farm’s role in advancing sustainable development.
Green City Farm was also selected to be one of the inspired showcases of a sustainable learning community by the ELNE Educational Leadership Network Europe.
Green City Farm participated in the AgriCulinary Erasmus+ project to promote collaboration between agriculture and culinary education by developing interdisciplinary training, strengthening sustainable food systems, and equipping future professionals with skills for responsible food production.
Mosjøen videregående skole from Norway and Perho Green City Farm participated at the European Week of Regions and Cities, showcasing the highlights of Erasmus+ ‘AgriCulinary’ project aimed at creating an interdisciplinary teaching curriculum to combine agriculture and culinary education for the next generation of food industry leaders.
