Stop Wasting Locally Now
The students of ZBC together with teacher Casper Malchow, created the most delicious dishes using surplus food from Stop Spild Lokalt (translated as “Stop Wasting Locally”) is a Danish initiative focused on reducing food waste and promoting sustainability.
They collect surplus food from supermarkets, restaurants, and food producers that would otherwise go to waste. This is distributed for free to individuals and families in need via local community hubs.
Stop Spild Lokalt and ZBC have realized a partnership. This great collaboration aligns perfectly with our visions and commitments as a UNESCO Global Goals School and it is in support of the AgriCulinary principles.
A big thank you to Rasmus Erichsen from SSL and, most importantly, our talented students for an amazing experience and a beginning of something special.
At ZBC College >>, the students who have been involved in the AgriCulinary project are also, along with their fellow students, engaging in partnerships that promotes sustainability in many different ways.
